Who actually makes what you need.
Finding a supplier is not looking up a name online. It starts with a written specification, works out who really manufactures the thing, checks each candidate one by one, and puts the same question to all of them in the same words. Only then can two quotations be compared. Before that, you are comparing different products and calling it a price comparison.
How we work
It starts with the specification
Dimensions, material, tolerances, packing, quantity. If the specification does not exist yet, we write it with you before we start looking. It is the document that makes the answers comparable, and without it there is no tender, only a set of unrelated offers.
We look for manufacturers, not resellers
Company registers, trade catalogues, foreign trade statistics and industry bodies, searched in the language of the country that actually produces the goods. Resellers come first on search engines. Manufacturers almost never do.
Every name is checked
Legal name, register data, what the company really manufactures and where. No name goes on a list without that check, and where we are unsure we write that we are unsure rather than round it off.
You get a comparison, not a list
The same question to everyone, the answers set side by side on the same parameters, and the price delivered to your warehouse, worked out on the distance. Anyone can produce a list of names. What you need is to be able to decide by reading one page.
Which side of the table
We work on assignment from either side: for companies that buy and need a supplier, and for manufacturers looking for an outlet in a market they do not know. Our fee is agreed in writing with whoever engages us, before we start.
When a piece of work comes out of our own research and brings two parties together, each of them knows there is another party and on what terms. What we do not do is sell to one behind the back of the other.
- We hold no goods. CREA does not own stock and never presents itself as an owner of goods.
- We advance no money and we ask for no advance payments.
- No bank details are requested or sent at the contact stage.
- Sources are always cited. Every piece of information we hand over says where it comes from, and whatever we could not find is written down as missing.
